Kate & Matt

Wedding

Kate and Matt's late summer wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. With temperatures soaring, the atmosphere was electric, both literally and figuratively. After the ceremony concluded and guests enjoyed canapes, dark clouds gathered overhead, foreshadowing the imminent storm. Luckily for us we had already finished photos as Kate and Matt elected to have their photo session before the ceremony, along with a first look. The storm arrived and cooled everyone down, complete with hail, thunder and lightning. However, amidst the chaos, nature unveiled its awe-inspiring beauty. A double rainbow stretched across the horizon, contrasting brilliantly against the darkened sky. Miraculously, the storm moved swiftly, allowing the clouds to part slowly as if putting on a magnificent show for the newlyweds. We snuck out with Kate and Matt to take advantage of this stunning display to take a few photos of the newlyweds. The fading sunlight painted hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating a captivating sunset backdrop for the reception marquee. It was a wedding that would be remembered not only for the heat and the storm but also for the breathtaking display of nature's power and artistry.
